Confronting reality by Reading Fantasy...

We all live in what we believe to be 'reality’ but can never be sure whether this is definitively true. The Harry Potter series byJ.K Rowling, in particular blurs the line between myth, fantasy and reality. ¶   Potter as a hidden world, Mirrors, Senses, the Mind, Time, the expanding world of Harry Potter, Death, Identity and existence have been explored, drawing on ideas presented in the Harry Potter novels and supported by the topics stated above. Potter and other fantasy genre literature aid discussion of some difficult and complex aspects of reality by presenting characters who actively wish to discuss these issues.  ¶ The fantasy genre has been popular with young readers because “There is no end to the places fantasy can take us.” ¶ Fantasy stories such as the Potter novels can be unrealistic in their setting, but the messages depicted can be translated into everyday life and reality. ¶ Rowling’s use of magic is “Supernatural” or “Fictional Magic” where &quo

Discourse on Purity of Blood and Harry Potter

' It's about the most insulting thing he could think of,' gasped Ron, coming back up. ' Mudblood's a really foul name for someone who was Muggle-born-you know, non-magic parents. There are some wizards - like Malfoy's family - who think they're what people call pure-blood.'                           - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets The term "pure-blood" refers to a family or individual without Muggle blood. The concept is generally associated with Salazar Slytherin. ¶   Blood purity is a concept in the fictional HarryPotter book series. It is a form of classprejudice and also has analogies to racism. ¶ Being born and raised by Death Eaters, young Malfoy works as a constant reminder throughout the seven books about the racial issue, and his little hints and nasty comments are a preparation for what is to come in the last book. Harry, who is born by magical parents but raised by his Muggle aunt and uncle, is unaware of th

Feminist reading of Hermione's Character in Harry Potter

" I mean, you could claim that anything's real if the only basis for believing in it is that nobody's proved it doesn't exist!                                                  -Hermione Granger.    J.K Rowling's "Harry Potter" Novels have been published in several countries and are a major success with readers of all ages. The major leading female characters are played a very vital role in all of these series. We can see that in all of the series Harry's character develops a main leading hero role but it's not possible without the female characters. We can see in the series that from the beginning of his life, Harry Potter was well loved and taken care of by women. For Example:- -Hermione Granger and Professor McGonagall.    Chapter 2 provides an in-depth analysis of the concept of Feminist Rhetoric in the Harry Potter book series. Chapter 2 also provides background about  Hooks  and  Daly's  feminist theory.    J.K Rowling

Importance of Communication and Mass- Communication in every day life...

" To effective communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive  the world & use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others."                                                                  - Anthony Robbins Communication is very important in every day life. It deeply connected with human existence or we can say that it's the most integral part of it. # If we imagine that what would happen without any communication or we are not allpall to talk for a long time?
