Online Discussion on Mario Vargas Llosa's Interview.....

Jorge Mario Pedro Vargas Llosa, he is commonly known as "Mario Vargas Llosa". He is a Peruvian writer, politician, journalist, essayist & college professor.Vargas Llosa is one of Latin America's most significant novelist & essayist & one of the leading writer of his generation.
He was awarded Nobel Prize for literature in 2010. His most recent Novel is " The Neighborhood ". He was interviewed for the World Post by -Michael Skafidas , a journalist & professor of comparative literature at the City University of New York.

" If you are killed because you are a writer, that's the maximum expression of respect, you know."
                                                - Mario Vargas Llosa.

Mario Vargas Llosa's style encompasses historical material as well as his own personal experiences.
For Example:- Im his novel "The Time of The Hero": his own experiences at the Leoncio Prado military school informed his depiction of the corrupt social institution which mocked the moral standards it was supposed to uphold.

In his recent interview Llosa shared many ideas related to literary work, but I liked 2 ideas given by him.

Idea on Feminism
● Ideas & Images

1. Here Llosa gave on idea on Feminism. He gave an example of feminists attacked in Nabokov's "Lolita", it is the best novel of 20th century. In this novel feminist attacked about male characters. We can see this stupidity destroy the charm of literature.
The idea about good & evil characters in literature is good because literature is not perfect without evil characters. If everything is perfect then it's not more attractive for readers. Sometimes our criticism destroyed the charm of literature.
Let see this below video:

2. Coming towards the second point he said that nowadays people give more importance to images for expressing ideas which is harmful..... because Images are sometimes fake....
So express the ideas is more reliable rather than images.

Thank-you.

Doctor Faustus by Cristopher Marlowe

"Doctor Faustus" is the most famous play written by Christopher Marlowe. Christopher Marlowe  It's directed by Matthew Dunster  . The error of judgement I can see in this whole play. Here, I am going to discuss about four questions. Which is asked by our sir in class here, I'm attaching the blog link of task. 1.The Play director by Matthew Dunster for globe theater ends with this scene...What does it signify? Obviously, It's indeed a scene that when Lucifer is celebrating his marvelous victory in the end of the play. According to the Christian morality, when someone repenting upon their sin then God gives them forgiveness. But here in this play the Christian morality doesn't work. Here evil wins at the end of the play. In this whole play, we can see the full of wavering of Doctor Faustus. In the end of the play Lucifer wins in tempting Doctor Faustus with the help of Mephistophilis. In the last scene Doctor Faustus feels regret but it's too much...

Discourse on Purity of Blood and Harry Potter

' It's about the most insulting thing he could think of,' gasped Ron, coming back up. ' Mudblood's a really foul name for someone who was Muggle-born-you know, non-magic parents. There are some wizards - like Malfoy's family - who think they're what people call pure-blood.'                           - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets The term "pure-blood" refers to a family or individual without Muggle blood. The concept is generally associated with Salazar Slytherin. ¶   Blood purity is a concept in the fictional HarryPotter book series. It is a form of classprejudice and also has analogies to racism. ¶ Being born and raised by Death Eaters, young Malfoy works as a constant reminder throughout the seven books about the racial issue, and his little hints and nasty comments are a preparation for what is to come in the last book. Harry, who is born by magical parents but raised by his Mu...
