Thinking activity on T P KAILASAM'S :- "THE PURPOSE"

Teacher's role is very important in our life. We can say that “ Teacher is real guru of students” 'Guru' means whom through we can get knowledge. ' Teacher ' means a person whose job is to teach especially in a school or college. Teacher is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge. Here is some questions and I would like to share my experience and knowledge about these questions. 1. Write something about favourite teacher. Give some reasons for it. I would like to say that My favourite teacher is my ' Sanskrit'  teacher. She is very noble person. She always helps me when I need her. When we were absent in the classroom, she taught us next day also. I like her nature very well. Her method of teaching inspired me to be a teacher in future. I never saw her with her angry face. I would like to see her with her smile. She always suggests us that if you need my help you can call me at  midnight also. She helps us in our personal matters also. Sh

Lagan Movie's Review....

On this Independence Day we had a movie screening of LAGAN at our Department of English. The main purpose in watching this movie was to critically evaluate the main key points and to see the refraction of  Pre-Independence in the movie.        In The very beginning when the movie started the music was of a flute and then suddenly when the background changes to a soldiers cap the music of trumpets starts playing, from my view this shows the domination of British government on India.       The plot goes as there is no rain for a year in the village and the villagers are waiting for the rain. there isn't enough water to drink also. the farmers whose work is totally dependent upon rain thus they are helpless.    The character of Bhuvan the protagonist of the movie is displayed very caring for animal. In his first scene we see that some British soldiers are about to shoot a dear and Bhuvan saves it from them but in the end he gets caught and taken to the Bri

Aristotle's Poetics....

1 :- I agree with Plato's objection to freedom of expression and artistic liberty enjoyed by creative writers. because literature should give a mirror-image of life it should reflect real life incidents in itself. creative writers took itto another level and by freedom of expression and artistic liberty writer started writing the things which is only possible in imaginative world and not real life. Nowadays a TV show PORUS is going on. In which the story of Puru is narrated but there are so many imaginative parts given. Like his life as a tribal people in childhood and then as king and the war between him and Alexander and many such things are not acceptable if we considere the real life story of maharaja Purshottam. 2 :- With reference to B.A there was a story of morden literature named 'Black cat'. In the story the concept of tragedy is full filled. The unnamed character first deals with catharsis as he losses all of his emotions towards animals whom

Thinking activity: Wordsworth's preface to Lyrical Ballad...

The "preface to the Lyrical Ballad" is an essay by William Wordsworth. Lyrical Ballad is a collection of poems by William Wordsworth &  Samuel Coleridge. Title of collection recalls rustic form of art. French revolution has deep influence on romanticist and Wordsworth. Liberty- equlity- fraternity are 3 watchword of the French revolution and inspired Wordsworth and other romantic poets. 1. What is the basic difference between the poetic creed of 'classicism' and 'roamnticism' ? Classicism & Romanticism - we can say that there are 2 ideologies. As we all know that John Dryden , Alexander Pope & so on are classical poets., While William Wordsworth, Keats , Coleridge , P B Shelley are romantic poets. Intellect is a guiding source in classicism while in Romanticism imagination is a main source. Romantic poets are the believers of imagination. Classicists were restrained. They should be restrained while, romantics are different from c

Robinson Crusoe by DANIEL DEFOE....

Daniel Defoe's novel "Robinson Crusoe" - tells the story of a man cast away on an isolated island who attempts to create a life for himself. An important thing to note in reading the novel is that Daniel Defoe was himself a dissenter and a strong advocate for the rights of dissenters to freedom of conscience. Many of his protagonist's spiritual developments reflect this. ◆ Survival:- The first theme in the book is one of survival. In his experience being shipwrecked , Crusoe must think about what is absolutely necessary for physical survival. The theme of survival leads to a second theme,w which is awareness that which our lives in civilization we constantly long for many things we do not actually need. Thus Crusoe reflects on the theme, or sin , of covetousness. ◆ Spiritual growth:- The next theme is spiritual growth. Away from the regular life of civilization, Crusoe begins to understand that religion does not require elaborate rituals or priests,

Thinking activity: Coleridge's Biographia Literaria

After the discussion of Coleridge's Biographia Literaria., the students of MKBU had a task of that & gave the  interpretation about that. So here is my answer which asked in below link: http://dilipbarad.blogspot.com/2015/10/coleridge-biographia-literaria.html?m=1 Biographia Literaria by S.T Coleridge is a great literary work. Coleridge's written critical work contained in 24 chapters of Biographia Literaria [1815-17]. In chapter XIV of Biographia Literaria, Coleridge has discussed his view of nature & function of poetry., difference between Poem & Poetry & difference between prose & poem. Coleridge has to deal with 'persons & characters' are super natural. As we all know that Wordsworth & Coleridge are romantic poet, but we find several difference between both of them. Both of them has a different point of view about poetic diction. 1. Difference between Poem & Poetry. Poem is a form of poetry. Poetry means to create &am
